What is wrong with the City Club? It is in River Ranch, the nicest part of Lafayette.

I recall diamon club moved because City Club supports UL...I’m all for pulling functions towards the businesses that support the Cajuns...with the Petroleum Club dying on the vine...you’d think they’d do anything to keep long standing parties...

The petroleum club makes me sad. It's like a fossil from a long dead oilfield.

The food sucks and the options are limited. It is like cafeteria food, but served in a nice looking tray with a really fancy spoon. DC switched to City Club a couple of years ago to show support for one the large donors, that apparently owns all or part of City Club. It was not a knock on Petroleum club at all, because the petroleum club was CLEARLY better.

Rebounders also meets at City Club. Manager is a big basketball supporter. He is the guy who was asked to move sections at the NIT game.

For those interested in the Quarterback Club.

Gooood afternoon everyone! It sure has been awhile since the last time I sent one of these out, but don't fear were still doing QB Club! Not only has their been a change in coaching staff, but there has also been a change in our QB Club. First off the location has changed. This year we will have our meetings at City Club at River Ranch! Also the day we meet will be on FRIDAYS. Another change is we will ONLY meet the weeks of HOME games. That means only SIX luncheons this year. With that being said our first meeting will be August 31st at 11:30. Lastly, by clicking the link below, you will find the forms to renew your membership. To renew you are more than welcome to call me and renew over the phone, via email, mail in the form, or you can wait until the luncheons and renew there! I look forward to seeing all of you soon!

Note lowest dues are $250.00 Used to be 200. Price goes up and fewer meetings. Cost of doing business these days I presume.

I don’t know about that. I always tried to stay away from River Ranch. Too cookie cutter for me.
