No one knows. I bet it was 6 PM as many practices have gone at that time, likely to simulate Game Time of the first contest.

I went to a pre season pre pad practice and even there was a lot shown.....I trust coach to make this call and yes wouldn’t I as an opposition coach love to see talent and weaknesses......alignments......snap counts....routes run......defensive schemes......play calls within an offensive theme......they coach and govern ——-we watch and cheer at games!!! My opinion.

Here’s a link that talks about fan day and the scrimmage. https://ragincajuns.com/news/2018/8/...g-fan-day.aspx

None of this bothers me in the least. Napier obviously explained his system to Maggard who then handed the man the keys and all the tools he asked for to be successful.

No post scrimmage remarks there. Coach's comments were from a Friday press conference. I would not be surprised if one is held tomorrow and he shares scrimmage observations at that point.

My bad I thought there was something in there about performances but yeah I believe there is availability tomorrow afternoon.

You have a chance to build on the excitement and interest, have a presser so the Sunday print and electronic media can get stories out (Sid too) to build on a successful Saturday...instead the program drops back to USL form, has no presser, has no Sunday stories, momentum from fan day has gone buhby...and again, I hate to make this comparison, but State U had a first scrimmage too, no press or fans, but a presser afterwards with the O, Glen Guilbeau has a full rundown and take on the scrimmage without even witnessing it...hey when will UL get it? You have to create the attention, interest, desire to make UL football important enough for folks to pay attention and want, want, want, to be a part of the cULture...that my friends was a huge fail!
I don't get why anyone would want to hear a couple minutes of coach speak about a practice. This isn't going to get people excited about the upcoming season. I don't see the problem here.
