    What???

So a story about a guy, that you can't even remember his name, is how Lafayette is perceived? Good grief....

He owns the land. It’s up to him how he wants it developed. I’m not sure I believe this story is accurate. I’ve heard a slightly different version for the North Shore in the Florida Parishes.

Funny how Disney wanted to be in Louisiana so badly yet I still see them only two places in USA.

Well, add Metallica to the list that’s not coming.

Cross section of different genres...Cher, Toby Keith and Buckethead are out there as possibilities.

....way way back when.....my grandpa was surveying the land where the old airline highway was to go......didn’t buy any of the adjacent property since that was an unfair advantage as a business deal!

Nope. 11th in Vegas, 18th is off day between San Antonio and Houston.

Dome too large a venue for Buckethead. Heymann more his venue size.

Beyoncé doesn’t start touring until late June.

Casting Crowns is a possibility for first date, in College Station a week before with gap in schedule afterwards. They’ve played the dome before.

But he chose to be a Cajun. The character he gained has far exceeded the riches left behind.

Most have stories like this to tell: My father back in the twenties had a chance to go in with his uncle, the Harry Bourg family, who lived in Dulac to purchase marsh land for $1 per acre. His uncle had the idea of leasing it to trapper. My father, who in later years saw his mistake, did not see it as a money maker. Then came the oil companies, mostly Superior Oil Co., which made his uncle a multi-millionaire and royalties are still rolling in to this day. And my father became just another working stiff, in the oil patch, with Superior Oil Company at that.....you never know.

I worked for Superior Oil Company or I should say "The Superior Oil Company" after I got out the navy for six years. Worked on the inland barge Keck. When it was being fitted in Orange Texas getting ready for an overseas job I went to work for Ocean Drilling and Exploration Co. who I retired form after 27 years. Who was your father? HR in director I am not sure what it means. Not Home Run.....
