    Yeah look at the list of acts he has brought in and what Shreveport brings in with a facility similar in size. He has hurt the cajundome more than anyone. I hope the new regime has a change of heart.

    I see the part that can be construed as him "making himself out to be a martyr," but where does he blame others for the lack of acts?

    For years, the Cajundome has had a tough time competing for concerts against casinos and larger venues in Louisiana. It's only gotten worse in the past few years.

    The depressed local economy, Davis said, "is causing promoters to be a little nervous about coming into the market. We're not getting the live entertainment business we are accustomed to. As a result, we're having a financial challenge.

    Texas Club in Br pulls in major acts 2 or 3 times a month .. guess its a large venue lol

    Lafayette opted to give Opelousas a great cash cow, E Downs, and no to gambling boats. Maybe it's a good decision, but there's costs either way you go.

    But Lafayette Parish kept that EVIL gambling out of its neighborhoods!!!
