Especially because the Cajundome would probably only open 1 concession stand. It’s hard for me to imagine a similar facility being run worse than the Cajundome is run.

True, but all the performer cares about is getting paid.

For decades, Acadiana had the most disposable income in the State, yet the Cajun Dome sat empty relatively speaking.

One of your best posts. Short, sweet and directly on point.

Davis may be gone, but the same staff is still running things.

Mike Noah was before them. He was a great guy and new what he was doing. It is too bad he got a better opportunity before he was here for very long. I believe most of that staff, including Davis was there when Noah was there, but he was not here long enough for them to learn from him.

Lafayette is an increstious city. They’re constantly saying, no we don’t want, need outside influences. Give that job to oncle Pierre, or tante Evangeline. They graduated high school.

Just show how Lafayette handles thing. Back in the sixties I was negotiating a home with a realtor name, Noland. Can't remember his first name. The Disney cooperation was negotiating a deal to purchase land just past the Air Port to billed a Cajun Park with all the bells and whistles. The big problem was that the land along the hwy. was owned by Noland. He was willing to lease but not sell. Disney don't lease, so they packed up and left.
