    From afar..if the ticket scanners at the gates can't get that right, I can only imagine the circus this will turn out to be with parking...park early, stay late...

    No cash allowed for parking is smart and very efficient. We have a terrible track record of people stealing, embezzling, and filing fraudulent reports of cash paid for parking at our university.
    If you add up all the money we lost, it is probably more than all the stolen money from banks that went unrecovered.

    Does their semester student parking fee cover it? They normally park their during the week. If not then students can park on campus and catch the bus or pay a student athletic fee like most peer universities around the country.

    That’s always a gamble, but if you put a product on the field that people want to see the students will come. I think this is better than “let’s not charge anything for parking or no one will come” approach. The administration is getting smarter about game day management.
