Renovate the seating. Just make a really nice, covered lounge/sports bar type atmosphere up top. In fact, that would be a good motif to extend all around the stadium.

    K.I.S.S.
Put luxury club/parish sections in the wedges on both sides of the east sideline that go from the field to the top, from endzone to the 25. Bowl the remaining half of the north endzone to connect it to the home side seating. Put some boxes or patio seating that's part of a nice, covered concourse restroom/concession area along the top of the east section, maybe some of the high bar seating that extends down into the top 1/3 of seating in that area. Leave what's left between the 30's as a student section and the band area.

My crazy idea for transforming the east sideline into something that can generate premium revenue, get people out of the sun, and still leave a seating section for students (that we have to believe will come if we make the product desirable) and the band so that there's still a normal college atmosphere in the background of any football action on TV.

I'm no architect, but something like this (pardon my crude MS Paint illustration):

Maybe the parish box does not have to be that big maybe put it at the 50 between the 40’s where you have the student section and band. Just move the student section and band over. Bowl in the rest.

The parish boxes look like they take up a lot of space in my illustration because of the perspective of the photo, they won't be that big by the time you divide up all the space into sections. I'm also noticing I forgot a place to put the visitors.

I'm glad I'm not in charge of designing any of this.

Think we use your design and then we can use both Red Tails cup holder design and these are foldable chairs so if someone wants to sit they can. This is in Austria and I even like the color. We could make the student section terrace they usual stand up anyway.

I agree it would be a great place to catch an away game on the big screen also before/post baseball & softball games

Can not bring outside food or drinks they must be purchased from concessions. Opens 9 A.M. on game days and must have a game day ticket to get in. We can show other games on the big screen at Cajun Field.

We bring the tailgating inside Cajun Field ! With covered seating we would not need tents inside.

Yes, something like this, around the NEZ and East side concourses, and also the Terrace concept down the NEZ would be very well received. Bring some of the tailgating into the stadium.

I wouldn't go that far, but this is more what I'm thinking. If we use up too much space inside the stadium for a tailgating complex, it ain't gonna be cheap. Those spaces won't be open to the public. They will be basically open-air luxury suites.

I like transforming the concourse area around the stadium into something like your picture, but it needs to be open to everybody, covered, easy access to concessions and easy for people to go to and from their seats. Very similar to what the Tigue has behind the stands/Home plate.

Doing something like this and keeping the seating around 40k would be best IMHO.

Just completed the survey. Leaves me hopeful the University is more committed than ever to the football program's success. All good concepts being kicked around.

We are not going to let student's have the 50 yard line again data supports premium boxes do way better between the 30s
