  1. UL Football 5 injured Cajuns out; key UL personnel recovering

    Tight-lipped throughout most of the summer, new UL coach Billy Napier delivered a treasure trove of items – confirming some news reported earlier this offseason, and breaking some as well – during the Sun Belt Conference’s football Media Day on Monday at the Superdome here.

    Chief among them is the identity of several Ragin’ Cajuns expected to be out for most or all of the 2018 season, including kicker Stevie Artigue, tight end Chase Rogers and defensive end Joe Dillon

    This is a great compilation of all the injury concerns we have had. I know football has a next man up philosophy, but these key players will be missed. I think avoiding injuries during the year will be as important as the new staff and schemes.

    I do like the new cULture of our programs, led by our AD, keeping things in house as much as possible until the appropriate time.
