    Great news...thanks T and Mike...

Coach is very high on the guys who moved to defensive side. I'm buying into everything he's peddling.

    He’s also selling UL.

I’m really excited about Elijah Mitchel’s health. That kid is fantastic and a more complete back that Ragas. We need him to be healthy and back to 100%.

The last kicker we got from Oklahoma was pretty good.

Not a Napier comment, but Robert Hunt saying he has dropped 30 lbs and body fat % went from 33 to 23 was great to hear. A 33% drop in body fat % is very impressive, and the nutritionist has only been on board for 45 - 60 days.

The OL and WR positions are out best units, but with Mitchell coming back we have a good group of backs in the stable. The QB only has to use the weapons at his disposal and we have a number guys like Barnes, Bradley, Malone, Ragas, Mitchell, Patterson, Aucoin and Calais just to name a few.

Our defense needs to improve, which won't be hard when you have given up 40 pts and 500 yards a game. People are concerned about not having a reliable FG kicker, I don't think we've had one the past two seasons. We should be able to find someone to kick Xpoints and hit 50% of FGA.

My 3 keys for the season are; 1) No major injuries 2) Good QB play 3) Consistent running game.
I would agree with this comment but insert something different for my #3 point. I'd insert Strong DL Play/Pass Rush over the running game. We have some solid running backs and a somewhat experienced line. I believe we will be fine there. We certainly were last year. I think its most important to manufacture pressure on the QB and jumble up running lanes with strong line play. Last year Dillon was used differently and did not provide this and neither did really anybody. This hurt our defense and a good pass rush can neutralize to a degree, a young inexperienced secondary.
