My information on Mitchell came after the spring game when I was told he was upset with his progress and could possibly face second surgery on his foot. If that took place, he would not play this season.

Now the update; According to someone in the program that read the thread yesterday, Mitchell was taken to a specialist at UAB and his treatment was changed. No second surgery was required after the specialist examined him and changed the treatments and PT. The good news is they believe he will be ready for the season, although they would not say if he will play against Grambling or not.

So we can be excited about the tandem on Regas and Mitchell this season, which will help our offense greatly.

Radio is a pretty public media outlet and that's where I heard about Dillon.
The extent of Dillon's injury wasn't public knowledge until Napier discussed it on radio. No one was told he wouldn't play this season until after the spring game when the word got out. I did not know his injury was the same as Bo Jackson's, I just knew it was something to do with his hip/leg joint and that he would need to let it heal this season.

Not so much of me having sources anymore, just someone wanting to update the board and the information. I'm appreciative that we have people in the program that read this site and are willing to pass information on.
