I'm from Franklin,La. Son of Ydell Washington. I have one brother(Rogers)who plays pro-ball and a sister(Tiffany) with the Lady Cajuns. I was a walk-on to the basketball team. I played for two seasons. We were the Western Conference Champs and made it to the NIT for those two seasons. I received the Defensive Leader Award for two years and Mr. Hustle for 2002-03. I graduate 12-03 in Criminal Justice. For a little advise to those how are trying out or trying to walk-on to a team, keep faith in GOD, work hard at what you do, and don't let no one stop you from where you want to go or what you want to do.

Rough week for Cajuns basketball alums. It is less than 15 years since Immanuel played. Guy was a great hustler and never shot the ball from more than 2 feet away. Too many of these guys leaving us way too soon.

Played against him and his brother growing up. Eventually he went in to play here while I was running track. He was one of my best friends throughout all of college. This really sucks.
