One of the best forms of publicity I have ever seen for our school. One note, all those extra people need to get paid. Know who is being asked to do that, we are. That is one of the reasons for the parking fees. I am sure more will be asked of us. There are not enough of us to get where we want however. More people have to come on board.

While we haven't seen a single play from scrimmage for this man's club, I'm as confident as I can possibly be that Maggard make a great hire in Billy Napier

    Thanks Dr. Maggard.

    Very nice article.

"There is a method to the madness," says Louisiana offensive coordinator Rob Sale, who worked for six years as a support staff member for Saban. "Everything, when you walk into this building, has the Alabama backbone. How we do our film breakdown, summer scouting reports, academic point structure, offseason program … everything is the same. We're going to win here."

If you can't get fired up after reading this, check your pulse.

    Thanks Dr. Maggard.
If the Glasco hire was any indication Maggard can see talent

You are absolutely right; there have been and always will be complaints but if we want to have a consistently good product we need to join in with the process. Spreading out the cost makes it cheaper per person but we need more of those "persons".

Maggard proudly details how Louisiana’s non-football coaching staff has grown by about 75%: two strength coaches, a handful of strength interns, three nutrionists and more than a dozen others who juggle duties in multiple departments, from recruiting to quality control. The athletic department’s snack budget went from zero to $1.5 million. The football program’s assistant coach salary pool increased by 40% to $2 million, and the school began to pay the full cost of attendance for athletes, something the NCAA permitted for the first time in 2015.
The article shows a July 18 date. So, is it in this week's SI that is just now hitting the news stands tomorrow? I check at Barnes and Noble and they don't have it yet.

Doubt that will be in hard copy. Articles like that are generally on the online version only.
