Note these rankings are before a senior year has been played. I wonder if it is best to keep somewhere around 5 to 10 scholarships open for the late signing period. Guys who improve dramatically their senior year may not have been picked up by the P5 schools and would like opportunities here.

wouldn't doubt they hold a couple of scholarships back, but depending on how many are available, I would suspect they want to sign 15 or so in December time frame.
