13 pitchers used during 2018. Only 8 were mainly used. Williams, Cox, Leaumont, Armstrong, and Norman saw very little action.

I’m not just talking about here, It’s like saying why do we get so many more O-line drafted than QB’s..it’s numbers. People also take for granted where our head coach falls in the pecking order of pitching coaches. There are a lot of teams who can hit and only wish they could pitch like we do. Not suggesting talent/development isn’t a issue but year over year we will always have more pitchers drafted no matter who the hitting coach is. Nick Saban will always have more defensive players drafted.
