This post encourages me more than any rankings. Apparently cajun4life has reviewed the film on these guys and likes what he sees. He knows a lot more about evaluating football players than I do so I am quite hopeful these guys can help turn the program around. We also have lots of guys we can now follow during their HS senior seasons and see if they have the years people project.

I agree with you. I've never really gotten into the recruiting part of it....I know how it important it is, but to me there are too many variables and I kind of get sensory overloaded with everything. That said, i am glad that other people do follow it so closely, and it makes me very happy to keep hearing all the positive stuff coming from Napier and staff.

Recruiting is very important. Rankings not so much.

Rankings don’t matter much in the way of substance, I agree. But for a fanbase starving for some excitement, desperate for a reboot, I think the rankings do matter. Regardless of what any of these players become, but I’ll point out that we have never been in the conversation for best G5 recruiting class, much less the top ranked class.
