Every spring college football programs send out offers from their boards, usually around 300 athletes. These offers aren't binding or official, simply trying to get on these athletes and to visit campus for Junior Days. If you follow recruiting over the years, often you will see an athlete get early offers his junior year from power programs, but you follow them through the summer and the only offers are coming from low G5 programs and FBS, that tells you exactly who is on that athlete during the summer camps. It can be a bit deceiving to see athletes with P5 offers in January or February, and then after Junior Day they are only getting looks from G5 programs.
Absolutely! That is my point, while he may love LSU, Clemson and Georgia he is probably not in their Top 5 or 7 at his position. They may also be stringing him along just in case they lose a top recruit later in the process. Bottom line, it comes down to who will put that offer in writing. UL definitely has a chance with Sonnier.
Coaches at it again.
Looks to be a DL.
Mr. Sonnier?
All I can find in the twitterverse is that it is a DL from LA.
