I think I have something for y'all keep an open mind on this one. I came up with this one on my own. If we are branding ourselves as Louisiana then maybe we can incorporate a LA logo. To me it looks like a very traditional helmet IMO. Include the double red or white strip and I think we could have a very nice looking helmet.

This would be like Texas using TEX instead of the longhorn or Georgia using GA instead of the G.
We have the perfect logo. We need to use it.

Agreed. The Fleur de Lis is native to this area and represents our cajun culture perfectly.

    I see Fleur-de-lis and I see NO-Saints wanna-be-me.

Prior to 1967 there were no Fleur-de-lis' found in business, and non as a front and center stand alone emblem anywhere.

    The Saints changed all that.

    That happened 50 years ago.

Times have changed. Look around. The FDL is ubiquitous in this state. It is EVERYWHERE. It has become the official symbol of this state. Besides placing a big L on the helmets, we will not find a better logo.

I personally like the LA helmets, the helmet looks very traditional, if used right it would be a good identifier to our school and unique to the University of Louisiana Ragin Cajuns. Eventually we would have to get rid of the UL well this is one way to do it.

Very nice! Put a small Ragin Cajuns below it and it incorporates our complete brand initiative.

This is it. We will not do a better logo than this. Normally, I'm anti-tattoo, but I would think about getting this done.

    This is freakin' sweet.
