Thread: Ragin Cajuns Equipment on Twitter - helmets for next season

Grills are synonymous with gray. Cars, trucks, braces, face masks, barbeque...

    Gray is totally neutral.

UL wore gray uniforms when Boomer was playing.

I have no problem with gray grills.

I like the FDL because it’s an instant connection with Louisiana, and French colonialism hence Louisiana Ragin Cajuns.

It’s the most recognizable symbol we have, if we going to use a symbol like Texas, Kansas St., Clemson, Florida etc. that is the one to push.

I personally like the FDL on helmets, but why always do it on black? Why not fit it in to the traditional design that we currently have, like white, with the double red strip with white face mask.

I can live with the gray face mask, but the black helmet has to go! It looks like a bowling ball that they slapped a face mask on.

Other than the French Connection the Fleur-De-Lis is very uninformative.

That's the problem for me. I love the heritage it speaks to for us. But... we have Ragin' pagin if we want to talk to ourselves. The helmets shouldn't be talking to us.

They could wear buckets on their heads as long as they win.

I like the fleur de lis better than the metallic red on black ones we’ve had in the past.

    My sentiments as well.

Maybe Acadiana Lanes is a sponsor?

Another classic summer uniform thread. Carry on.

Pretty sure the facemasks are supposed to be "chrome"
