From seeing his billboards in BR and along the I10 and 90 corridors he focuses on all things that make our economy go, such as big trucks, offshore, and maritime. I am sure he'd love to get his hands on a few doctors given the opportunity.

So you hate the guy because he chose a profession that makes a ton of money and he’s good at it.

    Makes sense to me.

No I hate the guy because he is in the most sleaziest profession in the USA. Theses people go down to the dock where they have crew changes and leave business cards on the table. They bring food in as if it were a sales call and try to solicit injuries. They find out when a guy goes to a Dr to get something is checked out, and if nothing is found they send him to "his dr."

Lawyers do nothing for an economy they are just leaches wanting to suck out of every aspect of what makes an economy go. Just watch the commercials they are after the trucks that transport good, the people who produce oil and gas, the doctors.....

Tort reform would fix a lot of problems in Louisiana and the country!

And in all probability drop everyone's car insurance rates.

Tort reform would drop rates in a second.....if texting while driving would stop it would also take a significant drop to costs! And lest I forget road makeup and dwi problems would knock a chunk off of insurance rates!!!

Look at the names of our facilities Moncla, Moosing(Franks)and Russo(Stabil Drill). All these people in the oil industry and I bet defended themselves in numerous frivolous law suits over the years.
The Oilfield brass have much bigger fish to fry who are killing the industry a lot more than Gordon McKernan. That would be the Governor with the legacy lawsuits. I don't think anybody around here would have a problem. He might get teased with all the goofy billboards his dad has around but I don't think him being a P.I. attorney would affect his son.

It’s actually quite insulting as a fan of this program that another so called fan would disparage a parent of a potential student athlete. It’s disgusting to me.

I think it's a non issue. The kid ain't coming here. He was offered a walk on spot. I saw him play last November he'll get a scholarship offer somewhere. Especially if he is willing to go in state, to what I still call 1AA.

It's not about needing the scholarship for this player. It's about competing at the highest level you can. I'd think he'd love the chance to compete in FBS games instead of FCS. He can always drop back later if he's not reaching his goals.
