Pronunciation guide needed. How does the kid from Thibodeaux pronounce his last name?

I have an Aunt and 1st cousins named Legendre in upper Bayou Blue. Half way between Houma and Thibodeaux, Gray.

I don't know if they are related to Brandon Legendre.

For my cousins from the same area, (this is a crude description because French accent is required) Legendre starts like 'Let' and ends like Cajun 'jun'
