Okay, so now we are just dealing with opinions that are not based upon any inside information. Coach Napier has offered a number of QB's in the 2019 class, I guess if he wants to add his program to the list of offers he could do so and it will amount to the same consideration that Southern Miss and Louisiana Tech will get on signing day.

Holstein is off the board because Lannister once met an entitled douche from STM.

Not sure what you're getting at. I just stated a fact. His dad played football at LSU.

He clearly is visiting P5 programs during camps and already has an offer from Cincinnati, so exactly how serious is he when it comes to UL?

On my original statement I was going by the offers he had listed. Obviously if sec comes in, with an offer, that's totally different. The point I was trying to make in my original post was if Napier could beat AAC, and CUSA schools on a kid like this, it could be a game changer, in recruiting this area. It could totally change the perception. One thing we must remember is this kid didn't grow up a Cajun fan or in acadiana. His family just recently move from BR so no long term relationship at with our school.

I hear you, but before people get their blood pressure up, perhaps it would be nice to know what is the story on him and it could then be put in context. So his dad played for LSU, can anyone tell me with any certainty that the kid's dream program is not LSU? At this point, I could see Napier offering, but perhaps he's been told the kid is not interested. After all, they have done a good job of building relationships with Coach Cannon and the rest of the staff. And it is my understanding DL Coach Segrest's son is going to play at STM this fall. I'm just looking for some context.

My good friend has a couple of sons that went through TC, his youngest played JV last year. He was able to watch the kid from last year, that walked on, throughout his career, he also saw the sophomore projected started for this year. According to him the kid coming up throws a much better more accurate ball, than last years starter.

A good friend of mine whose son played at STM last season told me that Holstein wants to go to LSU and is hoping for an offer from them.

Unfortunately most kids from here do.

He probably needs to win the starting position at STM and do something there before he goes off to be an SEC QB.
