I would say yes....looking at just LSU since 1995...they’ve won 7 conference regular season titles... Robe has won 6...didn’t even bother looking up Ole Miss, Kentucky, Georgia, etc. Bc I believe I know the answer

We are talking postseason appearances. Quit changing the criteria.

Well going to a conference with built in bias and advantages would change the criteria.

Exactly my point. Ohio valley is not the sunbelt which is not the SEC. Comparing postseason appearances between any 2 of the 3 is useless.

Even still...I’ll research later, can’t right now...but I’d bet Robes 50% success rate is better than the bottom tier SEC schools...but again...pure assumption...

But the SBC has been a one bid league..the SEC has never. Much closer comparison

Last decade, SEC has had no less than 7 bids. That would mean bottom half of the conference half the time.

What are they gonna pay him, just curious

Long story short...tried a few quick searches to provide sites showing regional bids for individual conferences on year-by-year case...can’t find any and not about to look up individual results for Ohio valley/sun belt/sec schools...only true comparison: Robe has been best coach in his conference going on quarter of a century and put up best results in his conference...so I’d believe any school would want a coach who was the best against his peers

Private schools generally do not release that information.

As much as is pains to say it, but Kittrell from USA was a better coach in the Sun Belt.

    28 seasons at USA:
    10 regular season titles
    8 tournament titles
    18 regional appearances
1,052 wins in those 28 seasons
