Fair enough...as far as my comments regarding Bragga’s post season accomplishments...here’s my Robe defense per your request...you seem to be fine with Bragga making regional 3/14 years due to him being in a 1 bid league...Sun belt is usually 2 bid league and Robe has made it 12/24 years...who’s more successful?

It’s not comparable. That’s the point.

Edit: Where did I say I was ok with it? I didn’t say anything about it being a great hire. It’s risky. All I said was your comparison was not valid.

Def thinks it’s comparable...he had 6 overall losing seasons...7 conference losing seasons...point being...him being in a 1 bid league is not the reason he only had 3 appearances in 14 years...another point is that given time to turn things around...great things are still possible...

Would Robe’s results cut it if he was coaching in the SEC?

I would say yes....looking at just LSU since 1995...they’ve won 7 conference regular season titles... Robe has won 6...didn’t even bother looking up Ole Miss, Kentucky, Georgia, etc. Bc I believe I know the answer

We are talking postseason appearances. Quit changing the criteria.

Well going to a conference with built in bias and advantages would change the criteria.

Exactly my point. Ohio valley is not the sunbelt which is not the SEC. Comparing postseason appearances between any 2 of the 3 is useless.

Even still...I’ll research later, can’t right now...but I’d bet Robes 50% success rate is better than the bottom tier SEC schools...but again...pure assumption...

But the SBC has been a one bid league..the SEC has never. Much closer comparison
