The funniest part about this hearsay nonsense, is the CHS player whose recruitment started this stupid thread....his dad was a starting receiver for CHS in the 80s. So he's a legacy. And the head coach who just won a state title. Former CHS starting QB, one of multiple brothers to do so. Lots of legacy kids (cause, you know, great school) and lots of new kids, cause you know, great school....filling up that trophy case.

My coworker friend's two daughters played soccer there. The oldest is now a doctor. School can't be that bad.

To take that legacy back even more, the kids grand paw was a member of the first CHS state championship team, and he had a few uncles that played for CHS, in the 80s and 90s. His grand paw also played football for the cajuns, so if the kid comes here that would make him a double legacy.

So with that vermillion parish blood he may not be an "entitled douche" after all.

What you should really be asking is, why your former coach David Comeaux, thought he was bigger than a 30 or 40 year rivalry, when he decided to not schedule the game anymore. Yep. It was right after Zion hill, that "entitled douche", shut down your prized running back, to basically no yards. I for one can get past that, I love Zy, I love Elijah, and I hope both of them have great careers for the Cajuns. 2 small town local kids! Love it. That's what I'm talkin bout.
........”and from the South Endzone———Your Erath Bobcats”.......some fun times!!!

There is no more "state champs" in high school sports in the state of Louisiana. The LHSAA has ruined that. CHNI and notre dame would have beaten both welsh in football, and scum of the earth, I mean Loreauville in baseball. You may be class AA public school champs, but until the day comes that the entire state competes for the championship, you can't call it a state championship.

By the way CHS is 4th - 12th so you are correct in saying there is a Jr High on admiral Doyle.

Good ole high school rivals you got to love them.

Not good when a Jr High beats your High School football team like a rented mule. Every. Single. Year.

High school rivalries are the best. Run our mouth all year long, the kids play the game, then the adults hang out and have a beer after. It’s all in good fun.
