It will be interesting what are the proposed renovations to CF, and the sketches of the plans for It.

I wonder if a sports bar/restaurant near the football stadium has been thought of. One that would obviously be open during all sporting events (pregame/postgame, but also one that could air all away games. Watching away games in a UL sponsored sports bar at the sports complex would be very cool...it could be opened up for a lot of different reasons, concerts, etc...

That would be awesome!! We could do it in the renovated Upper Deck.

Put it to you like this. If we are looking for an increase in our athletic budget, this is an easy pathway to doing just that.

My Interpreting of Maggard's words.....I'd bet the farm that a 44-48k ultra modern soccer styled stadium with expansive shade making canopy overhangs seen in the new soccer stadiums, very modern LED lighting effects throughout, MAXIMUM #of private boxes possible (these contribute YUGELY to pay for all this), attractive commons areas to hang out is the wow factor needed to make it a in-demand non football outdoor facility.

........allows a few thousand fans/concert goers to want to tailgate in the stadium, rain or shine in comfort for any event.

If he wants a wow factor then one of the first things he needs to do is bulldoze the cox building. The new APC was not built in a way to have the cox building in front of it, and you can't see it or get the true beauty of it with the cox in the way. Got to get rid of the eye sore blocking the APC IMO.
