The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns baseball team has 13 players headed out on summer assignments in preparation for the 2019 season, head coach Tony Robichaux announced on Wednesday.
Both Hayden Cantrelle and Todd Lott will make their Cape Cod League debuts this summer as Cantrelle joins the Falmouth Commodores and Lott heads to the Wareham Gatemen.
The Ragin’ Cajuns will send a pair of players to the Alaska Baseball League as Brennan Breaux and Grant Cox will spend the summer with the Anchorage Bucs.
Louisiana has five players tabbed to compete in the Texas Collegiate League led by O’Neal Lochridge with the Victoria Generals. Michael Leaumont, Jacob Norman, Haden Erbe and Jimmy Dobrash will suit up for the Acadiana Cane Cutters.
Connor Dupuy and Blake Faecher are headed to the MINK League to join the Nevada Griffins, while Luke Coker and Jansen Fontenot round out the players out on assignment for the summer as the pair will play for the Western Nebraska Pioneers of the Expedition League.
