    👍 our best pitcher this past year

    Funny that far and away our most reliable and consistent pitcher this year is the 4th Ragin Cajun pitcher drafted this year. Go figure. I can understand the fact that Schmidt is a senior but so was Stolke.

    Statistics mean very little in the draft process

    The difference between round 3 and round 23 is 3', 25lbs and 8mph

    It is all about projection in the baseball draft. Schmidt, and for that matter, Leger will have to put insane numbers up in college and the minors to get a shot at early round draft picks and then pro shots.

    I don't think it has anything to do with being a senior or a junior.

    They are drafting to their imagination.

    88 is very soft on the imagination.
