Congratulations to him and his family. Wish him nothing but the best and am very appreciative for him being a Ragin Cajun.

You know, this just makes it even sadder how the season ended...with so many good players leaving the program for one reason or another, and there not being a good send-off for them.

Isn't it a little ironic that UL gave up 37 runs in 3 games during the Sun Belt Tournament, yet 4 or 5 pitchers are likely to be drafted in the MLB draft!

    Like some say, "that's baseball"!

I say, this team was absolutely gassed. Pressing so hard for so long from where they started finally caught up with them.

When a one dimensional team crashes, it ain't pretty.

No doubt. Pitchers have a different mind set and can be a lot more aggressive when they have a cushion or know that the bats have a shot at backing them up. Going out all season long knowing that you will more than likely have to keep the runs down creates a whole other set of problems.

    Wasn't all Hogan's fault....

Hogan gets to join Wyatt in the Oakland organization. They were highschool teammates, college teammates and maybe pro ball teammates. Pretty cool.
