Actually, Travis Swaggerty from South Al was from LA and was taken with the 10th pick of the first round.

Yep, I had it sorted by state on the tracker and it listed him by his university.

    MLB bound!

I remember watching Hogan compete in the Punt, Pass & Kick Competition at Cajun Field.

I'm sure Rob is super proud, and could be saying "I knew this is what "MLB" would grow up to be.'

Congratulations to him and his family. Wish him nothing but the best and am very appreciative for him being a Ragin Cajun.

You know, this just makes it even sadder how the season ended...with so many good players leaving the program for one reason or another, and there not being a good send-off for them.

Isn't it a little ironic that UL gave up 37 runs in 3 games during the Sun Belt Tournament, yet 4 or 5 pitchers are likely to be drafted in the MLB draft!

    Like some say, "that's baseball"!

I say, this team was absolutely gassed. Pressing so hard for so long from where they started finally caught up with them.

When a one dimensional team crashes, it ain't pretty.
