Think this also needs to be said for summer leagues.

Except in summer league you are facing only invited D1 pitching.

Why? I've watched a bunch of summer woodbat. Everybody was grinding all the games I've watched.

EDIT: Purely anecdotal. Lucroy played one season summerball during college. He hit .347 in 84 AB after freshman year. Soph year he hit .333 over 200 AB, so maybe....

Lsue wins a bunch of games and goes to the World Series a bunch. But idk how good the competition is that they play. Idk a ton about juco ball but....just my thoughts. And that may explain why some struggle the way they do

I've heard that it's a lot of fastball pitchers throwing for the gun. Not much pitching. If you can hit a fastball, you can throw up a good stat line.

The Kid named Templet from STM who played his first year at LSU is an interesting addition. He is with LSU-E now and is smashing the ball as they continue their quest for another JC national title. He has signed with us and I believe they have high hopes for him. He could be a major factor in getting the bats going more consistently.

I have heard Erbe will play for the Cane Cutters here in the area during the summer. No idea if he is considering a transfer.

He redshirted this year while rehabbing an injury. Glad he's healthy enough to pitch now.

He's a stud. And when we play LSU, he has an axe to grind. I think he had some shoulder issues, and they weren't very supportive (if my sources are right). He was simply way too good out of HS to not play well for us. And we need him at 1B.

If Talbot still here, expect .170 . History proves that correct.

Saw an instagram post where it looked like he was telling everyone bye.... hopefully/maybe it was just directed to the seniors... Wonder where he would be transferring to, if that is the case?
