I think he may get drafted, but will he be drafted in a low enough round to get any decent money.
What's the latest on Tremaine Spears? Will O'Neal Lochrige get it turned around? Will Marco Ramos gain confidence and get fired up like his dad? How good is Breaux? Can Windom bring his average above .250? Todd Lott was just starting to find a groove when the season ended. Personally, I think the only junior we lose is Harris. But hey, his Dad is a big UL guy and he may want to stay for his Senior year with Gunner & Lee. Can we get Wade Simoneaux back as a hitting coach? If we can get all of this to work in our favor and add a few new guys to the mix, we could be a pretty good dang team in 2019.
No shot on Simoneaux. If Harris is the only Jr we lose I’ll buy your season ticket next year. Doubt Lockridge will be a factor. And Ramos is a senior. Spears should be back. Windham is the X factor if he can hit. Curious to see how he does this summer with wood. If he doesn’t do well I’m not optimistic about next season.
I hope he is back also, but know he was gone last year if not for the injury and know he was in the dugout to evaluate what remains to come back next year.
Also, you said Lahare was a role player???? He was by far the best hitter on the team at 321/470/388. I would bet the farm if he is back he will be in the outfield and hitting at the top of the lineup at the beginning of the season.
Not questioning his aggression he played with. Not questioning his passion. He was one of the better hitters on a bad baseball team. His defense wasn’t great either. I love the energy and passion he brings, but we talking about talent
We must not have. And that’s fine. I have nothing against the kid. I love his passion. For me it’s no secret we need an upgrade in talent level across the board. His speed allows him to cover some ground, he doesn’t throw particularly well, and at times it’s an adventure watching him catch a fly ball.
