Coaching changes need to be made and I think we all know where.
I am an expert in nothing, but I think it's obvious that we are severely lacking in D-1 talent. I'm not sure how we went from expecting a deep postseason run possibly to Omaha in 2019 to wondering if we are going to miss the postseason completely 3 years in a row in a span of 4 months.
It can't all be coaching, although coaches are also responsible for signing talent. Robe is going to earn every penny of his salary if he is going to right the ship. If anyone can do it, it's Robe, but he's got his work cut out for him. I am going in to next season with absolutely zero expectations.
I like Batty and think he will be a weapon from the left side out the pen. I like his make up and he isn’t scared. Perrin will need to get better bc he doesn’t quiet have the velo to get it by people. If Lamont can throw strikes he can help with the cutter he started throwing. I think these guys can be ok, just not sure what the ceiling is.
I agree with you, the biggest question is not one of them is the lockdown guy we have seen in the past with Stoelke or D-Mo in the past. We have a bunch of ok middle relief guys from what I can see. I know they were all Frosh this year, so who knows how much better they get.
Never said it was simple or that he does not have a task on his hands. But history shows that he has done it in the past and I trust Robe and I believe in the history of his track record.
There is nothing that says you need to feel the same way, but it is what I'm going with. Try once in your life to accept the opinion of others for their own. I know it's hard, but it would make you a better person and a better poster.
