Well, the first step would be for you to understand that hot seat and torching the place are two drastically different things.

Understand. I know you are not advocating regime change. I think you and others may be jumping the gun here on his seat being hot. UL is more tolerant of missteps because of our financial situation. That is not going to change anytime soon, especially when said coach has experienced a lot of success.

Robe’s seat will never be hot, he would have a higher salary at a higher profile gig before Maggard finished the paperwork. Kind of hard to make someone like that nervous.

Where did i say he was underpaid? Not acting like ___...he would make more money the day we let him go. Doesn’t mean he is underpaid.

What? That our coach would be picked up in seconds by bigger and richer programs? Maybe that should make you stop and think about some of things you have said. I guess it would be much better to be like football and never have a HC move up? A HC nobody wants? You are right..much better.

Not why it’s hard to make him nervous but that it’s hard to make him nervous. I don’t want a coach that feels like he’s here on his terms. Mutual, yes. His terms, no.
