Pry was never even interviewed .. He approached Maggard at the coaches conference in New York but a formal interview never took place.

Sometimes the expected hire is a hush hush interview.

Sometime the hire isn't even announced, much less the interview.

Yes announcing it next week. Adjusting staff to have a recruiter able to travel more in line with bigger programs.

Reason given for delay in complete announcement was that HR processes need completion. At least he confirmed changes are being made.

One thing mentioned by Jay Walker yesterday about all of this was that they were hinting that Robe mentioned that while changes were being made, nobody was being fired. I find this telling as many here want a particular someone to not be with the program any longer but that does not appear to be the case. So, damn you people for making me post about a baseball assistant coaching job in August especially when we are on page 72 of said thread. LOL. My question is Derek Zoolander going to be the new hitting coach or the recruiting guy?

One question remains if JT is staying on in a recruiting capacity. That is doesn't someone have to move to a non coaching capacity due to the NCAA limit on the no. of assistants you can have. Will be interesting to see how that is handled.
