Seriously? You think Domingue made what Babs is making when he was in Baseball Ops? Not even in the same stratosphere. Same title, same position. I’m interested in your opinion.

Oh not even close. And JT will make double what Jut was making for basically doing the same job.

Our staff has been woefully under paid for a long time. Especially considering the success we’ve had over a long period of time.

It’s time to get rid of the “do more with less” ideal. In the real world, in 2018, we have to pay to play. That’s how I see it.

So you’re cool with a job that used to pay $12K - $15K plus camp money per year to now paying just South of $100 K or maybe more based on what you say? I have another question, where’s the money tree ? All of a sudden we have a $17 million dollar renovation (which we can’t sell out) to now suddenly being flush with cash. Kinda strange.

In last year...I’ve literally doubled my RCAF givings being I am seeing investments by the administration (Tigue, Napier, Fball assistants salaries, etc)... I know I’m not the only one...

Also...if you’re not aware...UL just signed a deal with Super1 that will pay the program six figures+ a year, for multiple years...and that’s not the only one we will see...

We have started redistributing money into the correct places, not like our last AD who was buying bells that do not work.

Same here. I committed for a long time without seeing it from UL. Now that they are back on board, so am I.

And very nice revenue streams thru great (nearly sold out?) ticket sales, and suites (think those are sold-out), etc., that are very much handling those bond payments.

Plus, and I am no expert, but all of the facility improvements are run through "Ragin' Cajun Facilities, INC." which is a nonprofit group separate from the University.

I stopped giving to RCAF now I am giving 3 times what I did previously. It is still not a ton of money but it is more than they got the last couple of years.

Here’s a thought, our coaches need money, they ask their boss and he goes out and gets it. I know that’s an extremely novel concept to a lot of people around here but it’s how it is supppsed to work.

The latest change I'm aware of in that donating to RCAF no longer gets you an actual parking pass for the season tickets you may purchase, but instead gets you the ability/right to purchase a parking pass. It used to be a perk of differing levels of RCAF donation, and I guess it still is depending on how you look at it.
