Exactly, if it was recorded then how did they have a caller. The caller would have had to have known when the recording was taking place. OR it was a recording of a previous live broadcast. Just trying to figure out how they can have a caller on a recorded interview. Is the interview on sound cloud or something like that. It would be nice to be able to go back and listen to it.
There was no caller during the interview. If you listened, it was obvious that the interview was recorded, in Robe’s office. Topham was pausing the interview to expound upon certain points, and then pressing “play” to resume the recorded interview. During one of those breaks, he took a call and the caller asked the question..
Maybe August 1 announcement?

I can explain it as I was the one who had called in.
I was on vacation and a friend of mine sent me a text and said Coach is going to be on the radio. I was on the beach and did not hear the radio interview but decided to call in anyway.
I asked the question “did coach say anything about a new hitting coach”
Top struggled for an answer and it sounded like I was listening to Jay Walker.
His reply eventually was no I did not ask him that or something like that.
Geaux Cajuns!!
