The caller asked about the hitting coach then all of a sudden it switched back to live radio and Topham said something like that was not the type of stuff that "he" wanted to discuss with Robe and rambled on about some other bs. So to answer your question, no answer was given in the "top secret" topic !!

If the interview was prerecorded how did they have a caller. Also, if it was prerecorded when was it prerecorded and was it a live broadcast. Just trying to figure out how they could have a caller on a prerecorded interview. Is the interview on sound cloud?

Nothing to see here helmut... my vacation is almost over so I'll likely take another hiatus. Nothing to worry about. We have a new hitting coach. We'll make postseason. We'll hit .260-.270 minimum next year. We hired an entire football coaching staff in a matter of weeks, but one assistant baseball coach takes 2 months and you should just accept that and leave it alone.

If it was prerecorded it sounds like you are describing an edit that was obvious.

I doubt seriously they flipped from prerecorded to live and back.

CajunRage, don't you realize that it's a huge "process" to hire an assistant baseball coach ? Much larger than hiring an entire new football staff. What in the world are you thinking ?

I really don't know what it was but it was strange and Topham sounded as nervous as a _____ in church after the call.

There was no caller during the interview. If you listened, it was obvious that the interview was recorded, in Robe’s office. Topham was pausing the interview to expound upon certain points, and then pressing “play” to resume the recorded interview. During one of those breaks, he took a call and the caller asked the question..
