I'm so over the announcement BS to the point where I could care less now. But all this "all clear" and "it's a process" nonsense is nothing short of comical. Geez, it's been 2 months. Come on, it's an assistant baseball coach, not an secret service hiring. Again, Jake Wells is the guy and we need to support him and the players this upcoming season and hope for the best [or at least a lot better]. Whatever little games Robe and Maggard want to play in the sand box, let'em play. Go Cajuns !!

I'm mad because of the message it sends. The athletic department feels that they don't need to update the fan base when they demoted (not fired) the current hitting coach to the front office (the one who led an offense that ranked in the bottom 10% of D1 programs) and hired someone to replace him.

Do you think every single season ticket holder and/or suite holder comes here? What about those people that don't come here? Do they need to be updated about this? And who should update them?

The interview was pre-recorded but a caller did ask Robe about the new hitting coach and there was so much dead air that I couldn't tell if Topham %$#T his pants or someone was %$&KING him off on air. The answer is still a mystery.
