Now it’s pretty evident why you’re so against Robe instilling moral values in his players and holding them to high standards...things like having to sign a contract with Robe on their day 1...you wouldn’t honor your word...or work to find a compromise...you’d literally walk away by not giving a dime...
If I were at risk of losing my house or not feeding my family, yes, I’d walk away from an entertainment expense. Wasn’t that acceptable for some during the parking and RCAF conversation? Keep spewing crap. If suite holders investing 6 figures and it is doing nothing to help their business, they will walk away.
It’s obvious that I have a belief about how things are being run. No vendetta against anyone. You definitely have one against me now and can’t even read one of my posts without a preconceived response.
I’m willing to bet those suite holders are Cajuns fans first and business owners second when it came to buying/renting a suite...as in it’s a pure entertainment tax write off for something they personally enjoy...getting PO’s at the Tigue is probably secondary concern...but I could be wrong....and as Vic said...those contracts are not the same that was offered and/or signed by you and I in our offices for commitments that only have 3 0’s in them...that’s a fact...
Ok...they can’t write it off...they still are bound to the contract...also...I have no vendetta or personal agenda against you...I come here first for pure entertainment and nothing else...I rarely trust what most say here because 99% percent of the posters I have no clue who they are...I’m just giving you a hard time bc as you’ve said...you’ve been very vocal against a defenseless man...who has been a pure ambassador for our university...and I truly don’t believe he’s done as a quality coach..I think the construction job took ALOT of his time...hell if you’re Catholic and involved in the church...it’s no secret Fr Steve Leblanc left St Pius for another small church before the 1st anniversary of his new beautiful church because he was tired and exhausted and wanted a break from growing that school and playing project manager...I think we get back to Robes 100% focus in the very near future...
I'm confident that those individuals and/or company's that purchased/rented suites for a certain time period did so because they love the UL Baseball Program, Robe and/or UL. I don't think one would invest, or commit, to that kind of money if they were not fully committed to honoring that commitment.
I really don't see loosing suite holders as being a big concern. It is not really something us small fish need to be worrying about anyway. We now have professionals in place to deal with any issues that may arise. We ought to just let them do their thing. From what I can see, they are doing a fantastic job up to this point in time.
Well, I’m looking forward to it.
And to be completely honest, I have a bigger problem with how blindly loyal people are. I actually think he will turn it around and have never called for his removal. The fact that people have no concern whatsoever at this point is the issue to me. I know my moral makeup and integrity. I don’t know that of big business owners. We need the money, they don’t need UL baseball. That is a concern and always be one for me when we aren’t hitting on all cylinders as a program.
