I was on this board moaning and groaning for 2-3 weeks about a formal announcement. Now here we are 2 months since the final out and I really feel we may not even get an announcement. Robe needs to make a mental note of this lack of communication toward his fan base. He new damn good and well that a change was expected. He’s known this for the last 2 years and to seemingly purposely remain silent on this subject disappoints me more than it ____es me off. I really thought Coach Robichaux would have given the people who have supported this program over the years a little more respect. But hey, I guess it’s not his “style”right ? After all, it’s just a hitting coach we’re hiring.

And I would think a fanbase that’s been more than pleased with his body of work would give Robe more respect on how he’s handling this..

I can tell you this.. Most of the timeline has absolutely nothing to do with Tony Robichaux.

You need to stop posting about the timeline because it is obvious that you know nothing about that.

First you said an announcement would be made after exit interviews.

Then you got smart and said it would have to wait until after the CWS finished.

Then you said a few weeks ago to be patient it will be announced next week.

The catcher is a key cog in Tony’s system. I for one, am thrilled about his track record with catchers. Offensively and defensively.

He used an excuse that all of us knew was bull____. And now this. I’m starting to think Robe has no respect for the people that allow him to coach a game for a living 20+ years later. This is just me. I love baseball. I love the tigue. I am beyond frustrated with where this program is at this point.
