UL cannot go another season with only one catcher. They damn near killed Thurmond a few years back and last year same thing to McKinnon. No excuse for that situation at the D1 level. Monica and McKinnon will both catch. One of them may also play first base depending on the development of Templet. I get we need sticks at the corners but as someone always says, “it is what it is”.

We have a third catcher from Seminole state college, Sebastian Toro coming in as well.

I did share with you a problem I had knowledge of. Many other people on this board have come forward with information regarding the fixing of the most glaring problem regarding getting JT out of coaching and hiring a new hitting coach.

Nevertheless, I will follow your advice (or was it a demand?) and stop "calling people out". I started posting on this board to share knowledge. I lurked for a long time obtaining knowledge, so I felt I owed back as I have some minimal contributions to make. I will return to that. I get frustrated with many folks blind negativity with no factual support. But I get it, this board for some is for venting. I have taken a long time to painfully learn that.

If serious, its on the recruiter.

Jake Wells is a rising star in this business and the problem has already been remedied.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Everyone b|tching about the catcher situation, the recruiting, the hitting coach, Robe, the schedule, the “big money people”, the parking.... It will be interesting to see how much any of that is mentioned when we’re back in the top 25 next year..

As far as Wells is concerned, you have seen it. His offenses beat our great pitching plenty.

Nick Saban is a Band-Aid, every coach is a Band-Aid.

So why does anyone even have coaches? Just hire scouts and recruiters. It’s no solely on anyone. It takes a lot from everyone to be successful.
