Evidently the players were contacted a couple of weeks ago by the new coach and told of the change. It's just odd that no one has announced it to everyone else, or that it has not otherwise been made official.

Ok, but the point remains that he should not have been reaching out to the athletes, prior to his official hiring. How many kids did he talk to? What did they talk about?
