This one is gonna sting a bit. That's one they were really excited about getting. Not sure about any academic issues but know that his "agent" was the one who suggested going the JUCO route in order to be draft eligible after either one or two seasons.

Can't blame him. They don't swoon over bunters in the pros.

Plus he saw all the progress Todd Lott made in two years...

We've dug us a hole. Time to stop digging.

It's called "lack of developing players". And you are absolutely correct with the Todd Lott statement. If people think that these kids don't talk or communicate through text or social media, they're living in a dream world.

MAT, you hearing anything about an announcement being made before Sept. 1st ? LOL This is really getting comical the longer it goes.

You can reenter the draft at any point from JUCO ball. Start at a D1 school and you have to wait three years before you can enter the draft. Only exception is if you turn 21 after your sophomore year.

The athletic community gets very small after high school.

If anyone has spent 5 seconds with a kid they know texting and social media are the focal parts of their life.

It’ll be this week. If I had to guess, I’d say Thursday.

Don't really have to "enter" the MLB draft. Just wanted to clarify that. Anyone who is draft eligible can be drafted, whether you want to play Major League Baseball or not.

This is where collegiate baseball and football differ.
