I might add with wood bats, against better pitching. He is in front of 15-20 scouts and crosscheckers a game. Somebody owes this kid an apology.

Thank goodness, our knowledgeable fan base kept this kids reputation golden. In plenty other places, he would have been ostracized.

I would think using a wood bat has much more of an affect on bat speed with somebody built like Cantrelle.

Who knows. Performance anxiety? Maybe better pitching and inferior bats makes a difference for him?
