Again can’t help you if you can’t see it’s 2 different topics. It applies to any team who “needs help” getting in...they get the help the team is good..they don’t get the help the team sucks...same team

Getting an at large bid does not make a team "good". I watched the Stetson regional. South Florida and OK State both really sucked. OK State had a team ERA over 5.00 and played in the last game.

I’m in 100% agreement and not all teams that don’t get at larges suck..a lot of really good teams don’t get in... but that’s how %99 of fans perceive it. No perspective

Everytime I went in the suites I would hear similar things about hot seats if Talbot was still on 3rd for the 2019 season.

They would be less grumpy if A lot had more than 10 cars in it, but that may be a function of offensive production.

So as long as he isn’t on 3rd they good? Tony dodged a bullet there

There seems to be a comprehension problem once again on RP..... wonder if Turbine can fix that. LOL.

The ONLY thing I stated about construction was in reference to Robe's available time to participate in recruiting which was the subject being discussed. I; nor any of the initial people following up with comments were trying to use it to whitewash what has happened the past couple of years.

It is a simple fact that there are only so many hours in a day and Robe was spending a tremendous amount of his time helping with fund raising. Something that a head coach at an SEC school is never going to get saddled with. I don't think it is a stretch to think that would result in him not having as much input into recruiting. Some took that narrow observation and expanded it into "blame the season" on construction.

Or anywhere near the team batting cages.

I know he is a good recruiter but keeping him on the staff is still a risk if the bats continue to slump we may see a Munoz comparison.

Except the countless times he mentioned all the AB's lost leading up to the 2017 season. Which was a factor in JT being retained (along with personal reasons) to give him another year to implement his system. Which led to one of the worst offenses in the country in 2018.

Let's not forget the countless hours that Robe decided to spend meeting with architects and construction crews in order to fine tune every little detail on the renovation. He made the decision to take time away from his coaching duties to focus on that.
