He still was a successful coach who was out of coaching. Talbot left college baseball to coach high school and be with his family more.

    Ding ding ding.

Robe went back to the well after the Deggs success. That’s understandable. What’s not is refusing to cut bait.

Then don’t make blanket statements like “successful Colleges coaches don’t get out of coaching” because that’s not true

See Bobby Petrino vs Bret Bielema

One was fired for doing stupid ____ the other for being a ____ty coach ... one found a great job after cleaning up his act at WKU the other is a ball boy for the Patriots working for free

Has Robe ever fired a coach? Or has everyone we've lost left to a better job?

He’s never fired a coach. They either leave baseball coaching altogether or leave for another program. This is why I believe that JT will still be here for the 2019 season.

JT needed to be fired yesterday. The hitting this past year was unacceptable, and it needs to be fixed. Do it. Do it.

If he's still here next year, I'm not renewing my season tickets.

Well, that's not really true. I'll still go to the games, but I might buy one less beer.

Well, that's not really true either, but I won't be happy. That's for sure.

Actually if JT is returning you’re likely to be buying mo beer. Most exciting thing will be how fast you can get it down.
