This confuses me somewhat. Why would the athletic director go on a local radio show to discuss the hiring of a "hitting coach" in what is considered a "minor" sport? I could understand it if we were announcing the hiring of new head coach, but this just doesn't make sense to me.
I'm not complaining or throwing out conspiracy theories; just curious. I'll hang up now and listen.
