I just hope the news comes soon so Geauxlouisiana and CajunRage can bring their blood pressure and be able to relax at least until football season is in full swing.

Blood pressure has never been lower (at least according to my doctor). Don't worry, still in the healthy range....not in the "too low" range.

Honestly, my blood pressure doesn't rise during football season. We play football in a bad conference. Not much to get excited about, not much to be disappointed with. Meanwhile, we have a baseball program with top notch facilities and top notch support in a multi-bid league. But we get mediocre results.

Hopefully we can break this cycle of being good for a couple years and then have a couple down years and then have the savior break us out of the rut that his coaches and players got us in. I expect more of this program than to be considered an outsider.

Robe is not making $285K. He's making $200K with a $5000 per year raise for each remaining year on his 5 year contract. He also gets $30K per year of his contract that goes into an annuity.

so 235K and then 265K after 5. and that is without all the other bonuses i remember reading in contract. it is alot closer to 285K.

No. That is why I believe Jace Conrad will take the other coaching spot. Bab will handle ops only and will not count as a "coach". Justin Robichaux has moved on.
