One win from St. Peter’s wouldn’t have done it.

Could 1 more win from any other weekend series have done the same thing, right? So let’s not put the blame on St. Peter’s and put ge blame where it belongs.

You almost have to try to not win a single game..and my point remains if we would have won another game we would have been one game better. The exact same decisions and outcomes of that team are a regional team if St. Peter’s manages to win 1 game.,

I do not know for sure who the target is, but the people who do are Bryan, Robe and that’s about it. Like a few others, I’ve been told 4 names that are real possibilities. If we land one of those 4, the fan base will shat themselves.

My point remains that 2017 team was more than 1 opponent win away from being a regional team. The selection committee didn’t even have us as one of their first four teams out. That belonged to Miami, UConn, Old Doiminion, and South Carolina. One St. Peter’s win doesn’t put us over those 4 teams.

When your rpi takes a .000 hit times 3 that makes a big difference. For the record i was one who said don’t blame St. Peter’s that we should have won more. Just pointing out that a team that could have done the exact same thing could have been seen as a successful one by something happening out of their control.

And you didn’t indicate either way about blaming St. Peter’s. But you never mentioned about us winning an extra game or two. It was only about St. Peter’s.

Had the Cajuns traveled to a really good team and got swept instead of beating St. Paters they would have been in a regional.

Well that year we had an average offense..point being if St. Peter's wins a game that's a regional team. Nothing they would have done differently and that season would have been considered a success...1 win from an opponent in an entire season and it's a success...same exact team

We finished with 58 RPI. One more win would not get us into the 30's, 40's even. Simply playing St. Peters destroyed RPI, win or lose. RPI's over 50 are not at large regional teams.
