Construction and a head coach firing didn't seem to impact Mississippi State players as they made it to Omaha. But construction here causes us to miss postseason 2 years in a row.

Maybe they recruited, less tulipy and better talent.

What, feelings hurt because UL hasn't beat La Tech in football in forever ? Let me say this, I could care less. I'm in no way affiliated with La. Tech and have no clue how that "La. Tech" got on my profile. If I knew how to remove it I would but oh well. What I am is a local who follows and supports UL athletics and I can promise you sir that I know a hell of a lot more regarding what's happening with this UL baseball program than you know. Go back to your sand box.

You mentioned "it showed on the field". That's what my comment was toward. I do agree that Tony had a lot going on in the process but not making regionals two years in a row was not due to the renovation. I hope you would agree.

Glad to hear you're not a supporter of La Tech. Since you would like to know how to change that user id, try this.

Click on Settings (next to logout tab)
Under My settings....Edit profile
Under custom user title...type in your new user title in the space provided or just check the box for reset to change to the default user id.
Save changes

You mentioned "it showed on the field". That's what my comment was toward. I do agree that Tony had a lot going on in the process but not making regionals two years in a row was not due to the renovation. I hope you would agree.

He used the construction as the the excuse for 2017 (700 fewer AB's preseason) before the season even started, which I thought was bogus.

He used different and multiple excuses throughout and after this season, which was also bogus and yet made no excuse for the nationally bottom 10%, impotent offense. The ball park had nothing to do with the 2018 season, but was a major distraction last year, but I agree, no ballpark issues were the straw that broke us.

It didn't help that Robe was so busy with that in 2016-2017. That's all I meant.

Unfortunately, scouts and recruiters will tell you they can measure foot speed, fastball velocity, height, weight.

They will also say they can't measure how bad a kid wants it, what he will do to be successful, or how willing he is to step on the opponents' necks until they give up, tap out and go home.
